What is Alternate Paradigm?
Alternate Paradigm is dedicated to changing the customers think about service. Service should not be something that must be endured, it should not be disappointing, and it should never be more trouble than it is worth. Service in Beijing continues to be poor because we collectively accept and deal with it.

The process of changing this paradigm starts with you, the customer. Change will occur when you refuse to accept second rate work and demand the level of quality and service that you rightly deserve.

Until now, good service just hasn't been an option. You now have a choice: the same sub-standard service and poor workmanship you've come to expect, or our highly-trained, experienced professionals who take pride in their work.

We understand the IT needs of small business and individuals alike: the simple assurance that your IT hardware and software works properly and does everything it's supposed to do. We focus on resolving your IT issues, from critical to casual, as quickly as possible and on insuring that these issues never return to hassle you again.

The founding partners of Alternate Paradigm, Kenn and Trevor, have over a decade of IT experience and a combined nine years in Beijing. We are friendly, dedicated, and easy to communicate with.

Beijing is our city too, we are proud to say that the shift to the Alternate Paradigm starts here.
Why Alternate Paradigm?
Paradigm is defined as a set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them.

The accepted paradigm isn't necessarily correct. A famous example was the notion that the world was flat. Another was the idea that Earth was the center of the universe and everything revolved around it. The notion went unquestioned for almost 2000 years despite the fact that a few bright individuals were proposing hard evidence proving that Earth and the other planets all revolved around the sun.

Here in Beijing, there is an unfortunate assumption that service is inherently bad, that we just have to accept it as part of life. We've allowed our values to change, and we continue paying for horrible service. In turn, the businesses servicing us have no motivation to improve their practices.

By offering exellent service as an alternate option, we hope to change your expectations. When that happens, businesses that regularly offer poor service will either change their ways or disappear. Eventually the accepted paradigm will change, and chronically substandard-service will become a thing of the past.

Alternate is defined as a choice of two or more things, propositions or courses of action. Alternate Paradigm offers you a new choice, a course of action that you'll be glad you chose to take.

Change the way you think about service today.
